Clinical reference
Detects standard medical terms as they're spoken and shows quick, de-identified reference blurbs. A gloss on what you're dictating.
Suggested coding
On-device ICD-10-CM / CPT / HCPCS suggestions to keep with your documentation. Always labelled "verify before billing."
Patient context
Bind a patient from your practice's MedPlum EHR (read-only, off by default) to see problems, meds, allergies, labs, and immunizations beside your dictation.
PIN-locked
Everything is encrypted at rest behind a 6-digit PIN you set. Compromised? Reset the PIN and your sessions re-encrypt in place, nothing erased. No logins, no sync, no accounts.
End on your word
Say "end the note" and it asks to stop and finalize the session. You stay in control of when the capture ends.

WrenScribe runs Whisper and a small local language model on your device. The audio, transcript, and notes are created and stored locally, encrypted behind your PIN. We operate no cloud and no servers that receive your data.

Why local-only
The privacy-first angle is the differentiator.
Most ambient scribe tools send your visit to the cloud. That means BAAs, vendor risk reviews, and patient data leaving the building. A tool where audio and notes never leave the device sidesteps a huge category of compliance and trust friction.
For solo practitioners, small practices, and privacy-sensitive specialties, that difference is the whole decision. No data residency question, no third-party processor to paper, nothing to subpoena beyond what's on your own machine behind your own PIN.
